Working together as artist and writer, we're able to combine images and words to tell stories in any medium, whether print or electronic, large format or small. We write, edit, design and illustrate stories to deliver a complete package. Or we can work closely with your in-house staff to help shape a better product.
David LaGesse
is an accomplished reporter and writer with extensive experience in bringing life to the mundane and understanding to the exotic, including most recently a decade as a staff writer at U.S. News & World Report. He is comfortable wading into the most delicate or complex topic, having covered in depth financial crises, military invasions, science breakthroughs and technological wonders. He previously wrote for The Dallas Morning News and American Banker, and his work has appeared in The Washington Post, Money and National Geographic.
Laura Stanton
is an award-winning artist who specializes in infographics, having spent more than two decades on the staffs of The Washington Post, the Chicago Tribune and the Dallas Morning News. She produces engaging and explanatory images from sometimes knotty information, having tackled federal budgets, investigatory reports and world emergencies. While helping readers penetrate the thick and serious, Laura also displays a touch for fun and whimsy. She teaches information graphics at the University of Missouri Journalism School.
Josh Weber
After graduating with a degree in Economics from the University of Colorado and working as an consultant to various public- and private-sector clients, Josh shifted to full-stack web development. He is fluent with numerous professional and consumer-grade software products, especially with WordPress, Nodejs, Expressjs, MongoDB, Reactjs. He currently handles LaVidaCo’s web development projects.
